Description

Location: Regina, SK or Meadow Lake, SK
The position includes the following broad range of accountabilities:
    Responsible for the delivery of SIIT power engineering programming in the province
    Manage staff in the SIIT power engineering programs
    Manage and enhance the SIIT power engineering program advisory process
    Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with potential employers in the province
    Ensure a positive, diverse and inclusive work and learning environment
    Adhere to and promote academic regulations and SIIT policies and procedures
    When required, deliver courses relating to the Power Engineering curriculum


Required Competencies: Flexible & Adaptable; Effective Communication; Relationship Building; Results Oriented; Student Focus; Problem Solving; Teamwork; Partnering
Required Qualifications and Experience: Power Engineer certification is preferred (minimum 3rd class, 2nd class is preferred). Other related post-secondary certification is an asset.  Experience in the development and/or delivery of power engineering program and experience in adult education, particularly with First Nations adults is an asset.  This position requires a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle for related travel.  Knowledge of a First Nations cultures and organizations is an asset.
