The Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) is currently seeking one Permanent Full time Change Management Advisor to support the mandate of the Saskatchewan Electronic Medical Record Program (EMR) initiatives.
Working in collaboration with eHealth Saskatchewan, The Change Management Advisor will:
Advocate and promote for Saskatchewan Electronic Health Record (EHR) and EMR solutions
Work to drive adoption of EHR/EMR in Saskatchewan
Provide transition and change management services before, during, and after implementation of EHR/EMR
Enhance mature use and optimization of EHR/EMR
Provide ongoing program support to physicians within their clinical setting.
The ideal candidate will have:
Undergraduate degree in healthcare sector, Business Administrations, Education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Change Management training and certification (Prosci, ADKAR) or equivalent experience.
Three (3) years experience applying change management in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in healthcare and/ or a clinical practice role is considered an asset.
Experience in workflow process redesign or business process improvement is considered an asset.
Previous project management experience is considered an asset.
Knowledge of the Health Information Protection Act (HIPA) is considered an asset.
Valid Saskatchewan Drivers License with the ability to travel; and
Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required.
