Description

Reporting to the Business Review Manager, the Corporate Chef uses their expertise to support and promote the success of the Operating Companys STIR Platform and Customer Showcase programs, as well as other Profit Plan and Customer Service objectives as required. The Corporate Chef performs all functions necessary to the professional operation of the Sysco Regina test kitchen and showcase facilities.

Other duties include: Provide customer training and support to all customers, including menu and recipe development; introduction and implementation of Sysco marketing initiatives; developing seasonal menus or special items; assisting customers in plate presentation, flavor enhancement, and/or development of special sauces; Provide resources and support to the sales force, including conducting product demonstrations and cuttings in the field; Menu development and preparation of all food products for the above programs and objectives, either through direct involvement and/or coaching and supervision of fellow associates; Promote Sysco brands, including demonstrations in STIR Sessions, Market Associate Ride Alongs, Food Shows, and internal product cuttings; Support all new items with recipes and plate presentations to customers and sales team; Participate as required in menu analysis as a value-added customer service tool, including assisting in food cost analysis; revenue contribution understanding; and developing programs for reducing food waste and recipes to utilize leftovers; Provide consultation to customers on equipment selection and utilization, and staffing levels; and assist the Business Review Manager in the scheduling and tracking of customer visits.
