Production Supervisor in our Regina, Saskatchewan plant.
The production supervisor will be a dynamic, hardworking individual that enjoys leading a large, diverse union team in multiple, varied daily activities to reach established goals in safety, quality and quantity.

Core Responsibilities:
-The production supervisor oversees, monitors, and coordinates production team activities to achieve established goals;
-Supervises the activities of production personnel for safe and efficient operations, in all facets of the manufacturing process;
-Check product in all stages of production in order to maintain a high standard of quality, quantity and ensure compliance to proper technical procedures;
-Maintain accurate records of all pipe activity;
-Contributes to and implements lean manufacturing initiatives;
-Promotes, maintains and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for all employees while assuring a high standard of quality and quantity of tasks are achieved.
Education and Experience:
-Grade 12 education and preference will be given to individuals with technical diploma;
-3 - 5 years supervisory experience is a must, preferably in a unionized manufacturing, industrial or production environment;
-A good understanding of the relationship between quality, safety and production variables in an industrial or manufacturing environment is a must;
-Experience in implementing lean management and 5S initiatives preferred;
-Good verbal and written communication skills;
-Knowledge in pipe handling and pipe coating processes, including FBE and Internal Linings preferred.
Work Requirements:
-Shift work is required of the position;
-Overtime is required and paid.
