Dasro is looking for a part time handyman for one of its clients in Regina. This is a 3 days a week (8-5) position.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Hang pictures, white boards, maps.
Minor furniture repair.
Set up and move smaller furniture.
Miscellaneous cleaning of furniture.
Move smaller equipment and furniture to the warehouse.
Move, place and position furniture and equipment on the warehouse pallet racking.
Keep warehouse clean
Assist in the coordination of larger furniture moves.
Replace ceiling tiles.
Door hardware maintenance.
Miscellaneous cleaning of storage lockers and recyclables.
Move and transport recyclables to drop off depots around Regina.
Water softener maintenance and salt placement.
Arrange for the maintenance and repair of individual floor kitchen equipment.
Remove snow as required.
Respond to applicable service line requests.
Keep daily record of completed work.
Paint as required.
Monitor heating and cooling.
Site contact for contractor service work.
Coordinate all mechanical, electrical and other activities.
Qualifications
Valid class 5 drivers license.
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
Knowledge of building codes and associated standards and requirements.
Knowledge of security systems.
Knowledge of construction practices, OH&S and facility safety requirements.
Experience with construction and building maintenance.
Fall Arrest training and other training (ie. forklift, lift operaton) may be required.
Demonstrated strong organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
Leadership Skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to address/respond to multiple competing demands in a timely fashion.
Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
