Our customer is looking for capable individuals who like working outdoors and are physically fit. The work is tough as you are outside in a kneeling and bent position pulling weeds and other various duties in their work fields.
Labour experience in an outdoor environment is an asset. Must be able to endure the outdoor conditions of the sun and working in a field. Must be physically capable to work in a crouched or kneeling position for the entire work shift.
It is a role ideal for students as it is a multi-month project in the heart of the summer and fall months.
The qualified candidate will have the following qualities:
Able to work outdoors and be on feet for the entire shift
Good tenacity
High interest in crop labour. ie: Hand thrashing with a sickle and the set up of pollination cages
Independent Work Ethic
Superb Interpersonal Skills
Excellent Attention to Detail
Ability to Learn Quickly
