Smoke Em Diesel Performance has immediate openings for experienced diesel performance technicians in Regina. This position performs scheduled preventative maintenance, performance upgrades & necessary repairs to heavy duty automobiles, trucks (light & heavy), jeeps, agricultural equipment & various diesel vehicles. You will be disassembling & overhauling motors, transmissions, clutches, rear ends, electrical systems & all other assemblies.
Smoke 'Em Diesel Performance is comprised of an amazing team of employees. We are looking for individuals that are honest, hardworking, & dedicated to being an addition to our team. Our hours of operation are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. As a technician, it is required that you work from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday, however we require someone with a flexible schedule as you may be required to start earlier & work later depending on the circumstances (rarely). This also may apply to weekends and holidays however it is very rare that this will occur. If you are a dedicated & hard working employee with good time management, it is rare that you would have to work late. Smoke 'Em Diesel employees are offered a very competitive wage. Starting rates range from $15/hr. to $30/hr. (& up) flat rate or hourly, this is determined depending on skill set. We also offer an excellent benefit package.
Requirements
Experienced technician
Able to work unsupervised
Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
Have own transportation
Have own tools
Ensure proper operation of diesel engines
Ensure all repairs are documented & ensure compliance with all regulations
Maintain safe & clean working environment
Assets
Troubleshooting & analysis skills including electrical
Supervising Apprentices
Truck & Transport Mechanic
Knowledge of brakes, steering, suspension, & basic auto electrical
