Northern Quinoa Corporation is a vertically integrated specialty grain processing company with a head office out of Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Since 1992, Northern Quinoa, has been in the business of contracting, marketing, cleaning and value adding to grain and food products for worldwide distribution. One warehouse supervisor position is currently available at our Saskatoon location. The position will be full time (40 hours per week). Candidate must speak, write and be able solve complex problems in fluent english.
Responsibilities:
- MUST be able to delegate employees to perform tasks, plan production runs and create employee schedules
- MUST be people orientated and feel highly confident in leading / directing others to perform various tasks
- allocating the movement of product
- weighing, loading and offloading shipments
- bagging grain (must be able to lift 25 kg bags; repeatedly)
- regular operations and maintenance ofequipment
- Warehouse organization
- Bookkeeping with attention to detail is required
- follow and be able to document all in place Procedures and Logs
The ideal candidate would posses:
- knowledge of seed cleaning equipment and/or experience in food safety and safe food handling
- mechanical ability
- Great written and communication skills .
- Candidates must be in excellent physical shape and posses a high level of physical ability and dexterity

*Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid class 5 licence.
*Grain processing facilities and grain dust can at times be an issue for some. Applicants with severe allergies to dust are encouraged to consider this position carefully before applying.
