POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist with the organization of all underground construction at the McArthur River Operation including:
o    backfill and concrete placement
o    bulkhead building
o    installation of backfill gantry
o    backfill plug and shotcreting
    Oversee construction crew with their daily activities
    Train new personnel to ensure safe construction methods

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Minimum grade 12 diploma or equivalent
    Minimum five years of related experience, preferably in an underground environment
    Good reading, writing and communication skills are essential
    Significant carpentry experience
    Ability to understand blueprints
    Strong understanding of concrete
    Strong organizational and leadership skills
    Excellent safety and attendance record
    Physically fit to handle lumber, tools etc.
