We currently have an opening for a full-time administrative assistant / bookkeeper. The successful candidate must:
* Have minimum 3 years of relevant experience
* Have a strong work ethic
* Be highly organized with excellent decision-making skills
* Be able to work independently
* Have excellent business communication skills
* Be fluent in written and oral English,
* Have good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Have experience with QuickBooks and Simply Accounting/Sage
* Have experience with payroll, GST, and PST
Duties include:
* Reception
* Handling incoming and outgoing mail
* Filing and archiving
* Handling of CRA forms
* Assembly of corporate and personal tax packages
* Entering trial balances
* Communication with clients and CRA
* Bookkeeping and providing bookkeeping assistance to clients
* Assist in planning office functions
* Administrative assistance as requested by staff and partners
