The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting for a Rotating Equipment Technician, who will be responsible for the mechanical integrity of rotating equipment within the complex. We are looking for individuals who share our core principles of safety, equipment integrity, environmental stewardship and quality assurance.
Reporting to the Supervisor- Equipment Inspection, responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, monitoring safety performance of workers within areas of responsibility through field supervision, monitoring for an effective Condition Monitoring Program to mitigate safety risks to all personnel and the public at large, and maintaining rotating and non-rotating equipment integrity by performing detailed vibration analysis using different data acquisition techniques. This position is also responsible for providing guidance, information and assistance to the analytical field training for in-scope personnel to perform proper field data collection. This position may also be involved in other Equipment Integrity required programs and initiatives including, but not limited to: assisting in RBI studies and updates, acting as the Radiation Safety Officer (as required/trained/experienced) or alternate, working with Maintenance and Turnaround planners to assist in building work scope plans, acting under direction as the CRC Buried Pipeline representative and point of contact, and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
