The Practical Nursing Instructor is responsible for providing instruction in all aspects of the Practical Nursing program and preparing students to write the SALPN Practical Nursing Exam.  Courses include, but are not limited to: Administration of Medications; Anatomy and Physiology 1-2; Personal and Professional Relationships 1-3; Health and Healing 1-3; Health Challenges 1-3; Introductory Pharmacology; Nursing Arts 1-3; Nursing Transitions; and Sociology 1-3.  The Instructor must be prepared to schedule hours of work according to the demands of the position including evenings and weekends when necessary, and be willing to travel including overnight stays.

The minimal qualifications for this position are: a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing; RN Certification; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and a valid driver?s license.  A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered.  Instructor must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic's?s accreditation requirements.
