Description

Northern Strands is currently recruiting to fill
an Inside Sales position in our Regina location.  
This role will work at our Inside Order Desk
providing sales assistance to customers.  This
includes providing services to new walk-in
customers as well as existing customers.  A
friendly professional manner is required for
direct in-person sales as well as telephone sales.
The ideal candidate will have a sales background
and/or a strong desire to build a sales career,
possess a positive team-oriented attitude and be
willing to learn about the product lines and
industries that we service.  The Inside Sales
position will report directly to the Branch
Manager and will work closely with the Saskatoon
location.

Primary Responsibilities
-Fill customer orders accurately while providing
the highest level of customer service.
-Take orders via direct customer requests (walk-
ins), telephone and email
-Assist customers by researching request and
working to locate exact or similar goods and
materials which will meet customers requirements
-Provide quotes to customers and follow-up
periodically with customers to ensure orders are
filled and that customer is satisfied with service
-Run daily expediting reports to track quotes and
orders
-Display professional and courteous attitude to
all customers both external and internal

Qualifications
-Minimum two years experience in a similar role
-High standards for delivery of exceptional
customer service
-Strong interpersonal skills with excellent
written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to research inventory items, input quotes
and generate sales invoices using computer
-Commitment to promoting team oriented environment
-Valid driverss license
