As a Lifeguard of the Aquatic Centre, reporting to the Aquatic Coordinator, you are energetic and responsible for the direct delivery of lifeguarding duties-patron safety while in the pool and on land, attend all in-service training, complete all required reports, maintain accurate attendance information, maintain the equipment inventory, be compliant with the Aquatic Safety Plan, perform regular maintenance/cleaning/pool chemistry tests and adhere/enforce all pool policies/procedures.
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and customer service skills. An ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations is essential.
The work schedule will include days, evenings and weekends.
Qualifications: Required-
National Lifesaving Society Lifeguard Certificate and/or
Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate
Standard First Aid/CPR-C
