Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Supervise the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
Supervise the service of food and beverage items for assigned banquets and meetings
Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
Participate in scheduled departmental meetings
Process and Review banquet event orders to ensure the proper set-ups are in place
Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
Actively involved in the training of all Banquet employees
Liaising with clients, ensuring all function contract details are adhered to
Coordinate off-site functions
Help maintain productivity levels and work under the established levels
Maintain banquet standards of service and set-up
Coach, and monitor performance of staff in a positive work environment
Evening and late nights shifts are required
Accountable for nightly closing duties of the Banquet Department
Prepare and Process Banquets Bills
Ensure Responsible Beverage Service
Responsible for Beverage distribution, control and billing
Responsible for function room maintenance before, during and after events
Oversee all food and beverage service during Banquet functions
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Other duties as assigned
