Description

Eneray Sustainable Structures Inc. is a Moose Jaw based manufacturer of precast concrete and steel composite floor systems supplied to general contracting and light commercial projects. Eneray is looking for a motivated and energetic individual who is trained as an Engineering Technologist in building structures manufacturing. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary package.
As the successful candidate your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

-Determine best manufacturing processes to fabricate metal or concrete floor assemblies
-Create accurate and detailed Manufacturing Instructions/Routings using our ERP
-Assist in quoting new fabricated parts and assemblies
-Control and maintain the engineering drawings and specification library
-Assist Purchasing, Quality Assurance and Material Control Departments as required
-Liaise with customer on design clarifications / deviation requests
-Investigate manufacturing quality issues/variances - implement corrective solutions
-Support our Lean process of implementing continuous improvements and cost reduction initiatives
-Prioritize work and co-ordinate with manufacturing to meet required production schedules
-Assist in evaluation, procurement and launch of new manufacturing equipment/processes

Position Requirements:

-Manufacturing Engineering Technician or Technologist
-Proficient in 3D structural design using SolidWorks minimum of 2-5 experience is required
-Good knowledge of both concrete and metal working equipment and processes as well as welding knowledge
-Strong knowledge of Revit or VectorWorks is an asset
-Knowledge of building codes, engineering standards / systems / record keeping an asset
-Proven ability to think creatively, take initiative and to solve problems and the ability to take ownership of tasks and to complete projects independently
