MAIN FUNCTION: Reporting to the Commercial Manager at Lloydminster, AB, this is an intermediate level position which is part of the merchandising team for the location. This position will be accountable for the procurement of raw materials and the marketing of finished products to achieve optimum financial results. The position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, including the handling of logistics, accounting, and other customer related issues. Primary duties will be the origination of oilseeds, selling protein products managing facility logistics, basic accounting, and proper management of all other customer and commercial related objectives. As an intermediate member of the merchandising team, this position requires a higher level of strategic thinking, market knowledge and employee development than an entry-level position.
