Darcy and Rosalie Loewen is in need of DAIRY HERDSPERSON (NOC: 8253)
Employment Terms: Full Time - Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
Milk cows in two milking per day
Follow Standard Operating Procedures for milk set-up and take-down, milking procedure, and pressure washing in holding area and dairy parlour walls.
Maintaining milk quality by recognizing udder infection, testing with in parlour milk test and taking clean samples for further testing.
Treatment of udder with mastitis drugs administered in manufacturers instructions and ensure treatments are recorded.
Assist with sorting and trailering cows between outside pens and the barn.
Complete assigned tasks for general barn clean up and outside yard work.
Perform other general farm duties.
Working Hours: 8-14 hours/day, 4:00 am - 8:00 pm but could work split shifts with breaks in between, work 9 days and have 2-3 days off
Wage: $16.00/hour
Work Location: SE 1232R9 W3, Delisle, SK S0L 0P0
Employment Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary education is required
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in related occupation
