The City of Humboldt invites applications for a full-time Community Development Coordinator in the Community Development & Communications Services Department.

Reporting to the Director of Community Development & Communications Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the business/economic development and communications functions for the City.

Candidates will have knowledge or research principles and techniques, computer proficiency (including spreadsheet, word processing, graphics, website and social medial skills) and strong communication and organizational skills.  Graphic design expertise will be considered a strong asset.  Candidates will also be self-motivated, confident, demonstrate sound work ethics and work collaboratively with others as a team member.

Additional qualifications include:
- Studies in Economic/Business Development, Marketing/Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field;
- Have related work and/or volunteer experience; and
- Possess a valid driver's license

This position offers an annual out-of-scope salary range of $40,000 - $45,000, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to challenge your expertise in an evolving, growing community.
