THE OPPORTUNITY Facilities Manager Marengo
Located at 1 of the 8 sites, the Facilities Manager operates the overall success of their location. This includes the customer service experience from our growers, ensuring adequate inventories, and leading others. You have the ability to unify people, product and assets to deliver timely product to our customers. This role reports to the Area Manager, you see the value in partnering with peers or Facility Managers at other locations to meet the changing requirements of growers. With a passion for agriculture, you are motivated by watching growers succeed and participating in their success. We are seeking:
LEADERSHIP
Leading and coaching a team of 5 to 14 employees including seasonal employees.
Shares knowledge openly with others and translates the organizations direction.
Communicates and shares common vision and annual plan with employees.
Accustomed to established performance objectives with Account Managers, Operations, Sales, and Administrative and Seasonal employees.
Ability to motivate other to reach stretch goals.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Participates with Area Manager to establish annual sales forecasts, planning and budget for the facility.
BUSINESS ACUMEN
Reviews facility budget and expenditures. Identifies and provides insight into variances.
Assess the performance of facility; recommend improvements and participate in expansion plans.
Knowledge of EHS practices, WHMIS legislation and the TDG Act.
INDUSTRY LIASION
Establish and maintain strong relationships with trucking companies, operators and logistic support companies that work with G-Macs.
Learn and upgrade knowledge of products as required.
Maintain strong working knowledge of key industry people and competitors
