Bischler's Produce Ltd, a versatile Potato/Grain/Livestock farm located in Canwood, Saskatchewan is currently seeking applicants for the position of Farm Supervisor
Duties include:
-Supervision of crew of farm workers
-Operation of farm equipment
-Maintain farm equipment in proper running condition
-Management of Food Safety and Quality Control Programs
-Communicate with upper management regarding daily progress and product flow
-Task delegation amongst team members
-Accountable for daily operations
Required skills include:
-Ability to work independently and as a team leader
-Ability to manage a crew of workers, responding to concerns as they arise
-Strict adherence to farm safety practices
-Ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner
-Mechanical aptitude to maintain and repair equipment
-Willingness to learn to sort, grade, and quality check potatoes
-Willingness to learn farm and livestock practices
This position requires a commitment to working extended hours during peak seasons.
