Full time position available for a Cabinet Designer in our Saskatoon operation. The Cabinet Designer will work in a retail environment with customers and builders to assist with the design and product selection process. This position will also follow up with customers and builders to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner. The Cabinet Designer must also possess an extensive knowledge of the products they represent and the ability to serve their clients needs.
Requirements to be Considered for the Position:
Have strong, proven experience in kitchen/bath cabinet design and sales.
Ability to draw preliminary floor plans to scale for client review.
Enjoy working with the public and demonstrate a professional manner.
Exhibit excellent communication skills including the ability to listen to customer visions and ideas.
Demonstrate organizational and time-management skills including the ability to manage simultaneous projects.
Be proficient with Microsoft software.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Working with a wide range of customers including builders, remodelers, designers and homeowners.
Collects and keeps up-to-date information on customers product use and trends.
Ensures customer satisfaction by assisting with take-offs and communicating scheduling and delivery commitments.
Keeps lines of communication open between the team members at the store and customers to ensure that service is accurate and timely.
