Position Title:  Executive Director - International Minerals Innovation Institute (IMII)
Position Overview:
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the effective implementation of IMIIs Vision and Strategic Plan. Additionally, and in collaboration with the Chair and Board of Directors, the ED is responsible for recommending revisions and enhancements to the Plan that will successfully advance an innovation agenda for the Saskatchewan minerals industry. The ED must possess knowledge of the minerals industry, understand its needs, be able to identify opportunities to promote innovation, and work effectively with industry, education institutions, research entities, and government to ensure that the IMII vision of innovation is achieved.

IMII Overview:
IMII, with its office located at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, is an industry led organization whose primary role is to work with industry and education partners in (1) the provision of labour market focused education and training programs and (2) research and development projects aimed at enhancing the minerals industry in Saskatchewan. These activities are directed by industry priorities as identified by the Board of Directors and the Education & Training and Research & Development panels.
