Plainsview Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a Marketing Coordinator. Under the direction of the Vice President of Retail Services, the person in this position will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Plainsviews strategic marketing plan and programs.
Specific tasks will include: assisting in planning and implementing of member and general market research initiatives; taking a lead role in planning and executing of advertising campaigns; reviewing, evaluating and suggesting improvements to the organization's marketing campaigns; enhancing our reach through the Social Media channels;ensuring competitiveness of Plainsview Credit Union products and services and assisting in the design and implementation of new products and services. In addition, the selected applicant will support the credit union by assisting with the planning and coordination of various member-centred and public events.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma and 2 years post-secondary studies in Marketing or Communications plus 1 to 3 years job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An understanding of credit union services and operations along with advanced technical experience using Adobe Creative Suite CS6, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash Professional would be an asset. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required.
