The Transwest Group of Companies is currently accepting applications for the position of Snowbird Petroleum General Manager.
Desired qualifications and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Experience auditing and improving operational plans
- Managerial Experience in petroleum industry preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational improvement plans
- Experience streamlining operations
- Experience leading or participating in Quality Assurance
- Working knowledge of, and ability to ensure compliance with Aviation Regulatory Requirements related to Petroleum
2. Experience with procurement and contract negotiation
- Able to assess and make recommendations of fuel pricing and service levels
- Proven experience with bulk fuel sourcing, storage, competitive bidding and pricing
3. Prurience with Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs.
- Able to provide training on fuel delivery and storage, fuel handling and aircraft fuelling.
- Able to review and improve applicable manuals, operations and Quality Control and Quality Assurance process, as well as Emergency Response Measures (ERM)
4. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft, be self motivated, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a proven record of successful leadership in business
The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall management of Snowbird Petroleum. this will include strategic level tasks such as improving and expanding current lines of operation, as well as more routine tasks such as the provision and oversight of applicable professional training to staff.
