Job/Position Summary:
Automotive Parts Associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service to customers in need of advice about products and in need of product locations.
Work Performed:
-Provide excellent and prompt customer service
-Answer customer questions and concerns in person and over the phone
-Processing paperwork for Costar Battery Warranties
-Maintain well organized and well stocked department(s)
-Maintain price labels in department(s)
-Fill customer orders from back parts area
-Repetitive computer use
-Track inventory counts
-Keeping a neat and tidy work area
Knowledge & Skills Required:
-Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees
-Commitment to excellent customer service
-General knowledge of automotive
-General knowledge of computers
-Maintenance of an organized work area
-Organized, punctual and reliable
-Team player with a positive attitude
-Calm, pleasant and helpful manner
-Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations
-Ability to problem solve and take instructions
-Well groomed appearance
Qualifications:
-An open availability as this position combines days, evenings and weekend shifts
-Means of transportation
-Willingness to work hard and learn
-Automotive knowledge is a definite asset but is not a requirement
