Description

The Operations Manager Extraordinaire (OME) will be responsible for two main functions, respectively - managing and functioning profitable plant operations while providing strong leadership to maintain a positive work climate in a Lean environment of continuous improvement

The major responsibilities of the OME involve planning, organizing and directing inspired team members and their responsibilities.  You will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations, visible on the floor.  

You will be responsible for maximizing use and profitability of the plant facilities by promoting/enhancing plant and employee efficiencies in the areas of quality, capability and cost efficiencies, GMP implementation and compliance, plant equipment utilization and plant scheduling systems.

The Operations Manager Extraordinaire will be an individual best described by colleagues a professional with the following character:

3.    Empowering direct reports (careful team selection, build a diverse team, give team members a voice, tolerate disagreement)
