We have a position available for a Senior Buyer in our Regina Head office location.

Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager, this position will suit someone who is self-motivated and looking for an opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a performance driven team.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for strategic purchasing activities in support of various Brandt operations. As part of cross-functional teams formed of experts from across Brandt they will source, evaluate product, negotiate and implement vendor agreements; coordinate vendor reviews; and manage vendor relationships related to a variety of Brandt's material and service needs.

The candidate is expected to stay abreast of customer needs and maintain awareness of emerging technology in order to bring leading edge products to the market. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is resourceful and excels at identifying and analyzing opportunities and cost savings.

Some domestic and international travel will be required; the selected individual will be expected to maintain a valid passport.
Preference will be given to those applicants who have a strong technical background or at least 3 years experience in a purchasing environment and possess a SCMP designation.
