Description

This is a full time temporary role for approximately 3 months.

Work 4 days a week Monday  Thursday beginning at 6:00am.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a grade 12 education
Be safety conscious and quality focused
Have a strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand schematic/part drawings and applicable documentation
Ability to use various pneumatic and electrical powered hand tools
Ability to do occasional heavy lifting
In this role you will:

Read electrical schematics and wires electrical connections components for control panels in accordance with safety specifications.
Assemble circuit breakers, switches and other electrical control components and positions and fastens components such as relays, toggles and other parts into assembly casings using screw drivers and other hand and power tools.
Complete unit and sub-assemblies in accordance with work orders, product change order details and modifications according to established procedures, practices and standards.
Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques.
Conduct visual and operational checks of unit assemblies.
Record inspection results and completes all necessary related documentation, tagging and labeling.
Assist with cleaning or lubricating equipment according to the preventative maintenance program requirements.
Participate in cleaning and organizing the work area.
Cooperate with interdepartmental cross training and related initiatives.
