Responsible for supporting slot machine play & operation including guest service, game explanation, jackpot payouts, machine refills, minor machine adjustments and repairs. Acts as a representative of SaskGaming by engaging guests, handling them with tact and diplomacy and providing general information. Reports to the Operational Shift manager.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a minimum Grade 10 education, and one year experience in providing customer service and handling/balancing cash transactions.
Competencies:
Using a variety of assessment tools such as in-person interviews and written examinations, candidates will be assessed against the following competencies:
Knowledge of and ability to understand and adhere to guest service standards.
Knowledge of standards, practises and procedures related to solve machine operation, game play rules and general /minor machine maintenance.
Ability to perform moderately complex mathematical calculations.
Able to read, interpret, and apply information.
Able to operate and/or repair equipment.
Skills in communicating effectively, courteously and respectfully.
Able to think quickly and logically, demonstrating sound judgement and problem solving skills.
Skill and coordination in the use of equipment and/or tools.
Able to demonstrate and adhere to principles of teamwork.
Conditions of Employment:
You will be required to obtain and maintain a Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority - Gaming Employee Certificate of Registration. You will be required to perform shiftwork which includes evenings and weekends.
