Description

Duties include:
-      Analyze job duties of participants, identifying main elements of a position and performance requirements, develop and implement training strategies or supports that will lead to the job seekers success and independence in the workplace.  
-    Provide ongoing evaluation and assessment of participants performance in all areas including job performance, integration into the workplace and social aspects.  Offer feedback and guidance to the participant in order to encourage growth and skill enhancement.
-    Communicate with employers in order to assess the participants progress, encourage and facilitate natural support systems, identify suitable job accommodations and modifications.
-    Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of participant information through a variety of tools such as case notes, participant progress reports, performance indicators, as well as, generate reports that summarize the overall activity of this role.
-    Develop and maintain a follow up monitoring plan based on participant/employer  needs and circumstances
-    Develop and maintain positive working relationships with participants, employers, referring agents, families, and other support team members.
Qualifications:
-    Post Secondary Education in human services or a combination of education and experience in a directly related role.
-    Knowledge and experience in employment services for people with disabilities, including the types of supports and interventions/strategies that will build independence and lead to long term employment.
-    Experience using Job Coaching techniques including task analysis and specific task training.
-    Excellent interpersonal communication in a variety of settings/audiences.
-    Effective written communication, solution based problem solving, and organizational skills.
-    Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
