MARKETING COORDINATOR - Full-Time (1 Year Term)

The Position:
Cornerstone Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated individual to work in its Marketing Department. Under the direction of Cornerstone Credit Union's Vice President Marketing and Strategic Solutions, the person in this position will work with a team of marketing experts to design, develop and implement the credit union's strategic marketing plan and programs.
Specific tasks will include: assisting in planning and implementing of member and general market research initiatives; taking a lead role in planning and executing of advertising campaigns; reviewing, evaluating and suggesting improvements to the organization's marketing campaigns; ensuring competitiveness of Cornerstone Credit Union products and services and assisting in the design and implementation of new products and services. In addition, the selected applicant will support the credit union by assisting with the planning and coordination of various member-centred and public events.
** Consideration may be given to staffing this position at any branch of Cornerstone Credit Union, dependent upon organizational needs and the candidate's preference. Travel will be required to other branches on an as needed basis.**
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma and 2 years post-secondary studies in Marketing or Communications plus 3 to 5 years job-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An understanding of credit union services and operations along with advanced technical experience using Adobe Creative Suite CS6, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash Professional would be an asset. A commitment to continuous learning and development is required.
