A privately owned real estate development company is currently in the market for a Construction Manager. We are a Canadian owned company that specializes in the renovation of buildings and new construction projects. The company has recently undergone a big expansion and has realized the need for a new position in their Renovation division. The successful candidate will meet the following guidelines below:
Responsibilities:
-    Overseeing progress of site work and coordinating with site managers to meet expected deadlines
-    Verify the quality of work being done, ensure all deficiencies are addressed and corrected
-    Responsible for estimating costs to completion and times to completion
-    Help review designs and obtain proper permits
-    Ensure sites are following site safety protocols
-    Hiring and managing site staff
-    Coordinate with Corporate Office for budget updates and issues
-    Report as required to the stakeholders
Qualifications:
-    5+ years of construction management experience
-    Bachelors Degree, preferably within construction, engineering or architecture
-    Successful individual must be able to handle high stress situations
-    Highly motivated individual that is results oriented
-    Strong interpersonal skills
-    Experience with both new construction and building renovations
-    Strong working experience with Excel and Outlook
