Job Description: The Nurse Manager of Acute Care & Clinical Services is accountable for the direction, coordination, implementation and evaluation of Patient Family Centered Care (PFCC), in accordance with the established culturally competent quality standards, provided to the Patient/clients and residents attending in the Emergency Room (ER), acute and Long Term Care (LTC) facilities, consistent with the Mission Statement, Philosophy, values, and goals and objectives of the Keewatin Yatthe Regional Health Authority (KYRHA).  

The Manager is accountable for risk management, quality improvement and employee and patient safety within ER, acute and LTC services & programs.

Annual Salary $101,803
Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred
Experience
Master's Degree in Nursing with Management /Leadership training with 3 years of experience in managing health care facility is desirable.
Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, with a minimum of five years experience in health care management and/or nursing leadership.
Minimum of five years experience as a nurse within an ER & acute care /LTC environment.
Experience working in a unionized environment including the administration of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
