Job Description: The Regional Staff Development Educator assists in the planning, developing, implementing, delivery and evaluation of clinical and non-clinical education programs (involves advanced computer skills/multiple media applications).  The incumbent is responsible to maintain staff education records including entry into data base and ensuring current certification; communicating with managers regarding staff compliance and competence.  The RSDE  supports and assists distributive learning needs/programs.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Lead 2 training or required to obtain within 6 months of employment
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Valid drivers license or the ability to travel both within the Region and Provincially
Current CPR Certification
Experience
Minimum five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse.

Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice

Other Information

Field hours

Shifts consist of - 0800-1630
Field Hours as per as per Article 7.26 Option VI
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered
CNA Certification is an asset
Preference will be afforded to individuals who possess Adult Education experience
Home Base to be determined
Successful candidate will be selected based on comniation of interview, skills, experiance, and competency.
