Facility: DR COOKE EXTENDED CARE CENTRE
Job Description: The Facility Operations Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the Lloydminster Continuing Care (60 Bed) Facility & Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre's (55 Bed) Dietary, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Laundry & Materials Management and Maidstone Housekeeping, Laundry/Linen, and Maintenance departments.  This includes providing leadership, coordinating and establishing processes for staff. By providing services to these areas, the Facility Operations Manager has an impact on interdepartmental programs such as Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety. The incumbent  has responsibility for  operations of the Lloydminster Hospital, CSB,  Jubilee Home, and  Lloydminster Coop Plaza Housekeeping, Laundry/Linen Departments. Area wide leadership, area coordination, strategic direction and accountability within the area of Dietary, Housekeeping, Laundry/Linen, Materials Management and Maintenance services are the key responsibilities of this position.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a two year food and nutrition management course.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and public relation skills; proven administrative, organizational and leadership skills; proven analytical and decision-making skills; ability to develop, implement and monitor processes and operations; ability to work with and to develop teams.
Valid drivers license

Experience:
Managerial and leadership experience in a multifunctional organization.

Expected Start Date: July 13, 2015
Expected Up To Date: October 31, 2015
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours
