Inventory Controller, Level 5, Air Ronge

Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, the Inventory Controller is primarily responsible for the inventory, scheduling and distribution of College assets. The inventory Controller's duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Electronically update and maintain the fixed asset description catalog and location log by affixing to each fixed asset a recognizable description and a precise location by department, building, and room.
- Monitor and track fixed assets delivered directly to departments; travel to subject departments and process, barcode, and assign locations to property.
- Plan, supervise, schedule, and execute an ongoing annual barcode physical inventory of fixed assets.
- Inventory all assets.
- Completes inventory for year end.
The minimum qualifications for this position are completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, one year of related experience, and a valid class 5 driver's license. The successful candidate must be detail oriented and have strong communication skills, proven organizational skills that allow handling multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely fashion, have advanced computer skills, and a proven ability to work independently. This position involves heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), the successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs while using proper lifting and carrying techniques.
