Do you enjoy community development and workshop facilitation? Are you interested in building an adult learner culture in workplaces and communities with a fun, professional team?
The Saskatchewan Literacy Network invites you to apply for this position of Adult and Workplace Learning Coordinator. This position focuses on the promotion and implementation of Saskatchewan Adult Literacy Benchmarks Levels 1 & 2 to  practitioners and communities, capacity building, and resource and partnership development. The success of this role relies on an individual's ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate programming.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. Post secondary education specializing in adult education or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Knowledge of and the ability to effectively apply adult learning principles.
3. Familiarity with literacy and essential skills issues and the literacy field in Saskatchewan and Canada.
4. Project/program management experience and demonstrated success in rolling out deliverables.
5. Previous experience in group facilitation and the delivery of training.
6. Ability to work well independently and part of a team.
7. Ability to initiate and develop relationships in the workplace and community.
8. Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience dealing with a variety of essential skills and literacy needs (ie. Aboriginal, English as an Additional Language, learning disabilities).
9. A valid drivers license and criminal record check are required. Must be willing to travel throughout the province.
