We are currently looking to add a Gaming Systems Analyst to our VLT Gaming Systems department in Saskatoon. The VLT Gaming System team is responsible for application development and support of our existing Business and Gaming systems.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Maintain and support the availability of VLT Central System and Business applications (ERP)
Analyze system issues and processes to identify defects and improve operational procedures
Develop reports and applications in .NET, JAVA (Eclipse), SQL, and SAP Business Objects
Contribute to the design, implementation and practice of effective Audit & Security controls
Liaise with Management, end-users and suppliers regarding system issues and upgrades
Lead and/or contribute to gaming and non-gaming related IT projects within the division
Rotating on-call support and occasional travel is required
Other duties as assigned
Education and Professional skills/knowledge
Post-secondary education in a computer related discipline
Software development and support experience in with Linux, dB2, Windows, SQL, .NET and PKI
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant professional certifications are an asset (e.g. RHSE, I.S.P, ITIL, etc).
