Rising Stars crche is looking for childcare center assistants (i.e. assistants to early childhood educators) to assist with providing care and organize activities for children age 6 months to 12 years.
Skills Responsibilities
Assist with daily care of children
Help with administering programs developed for children
Direct supervision of children
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
o Completion of college/technical or related training required
o Have completed Early Childhood Education
o In-training Early Childhood Education students will considered
o Previous experience in a similar role will be an asset
Languages: Speaks multiple languages (Read & Write English, French, Mandarin, Portuguese etc)
Work Setting: Child care centre
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Valid CPR & First Aid
Must be available between the hours of 7:00am 6:00pm

- 2 years
- 3 years
- 3-11 months
- 4 years
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Food Safe Certificate
- Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree
Additional Skills
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain day care supplies and equipment
- Assist in housekeeping duties
- Assist in maintaining records of children
