Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Associate for our Regina team. Reporting to the Senior Manager Human Resources this position is responsible for administration of human resources/labour relations programs including hourly recruitment, internal job postings, attendance and performance management and assist in the administra-tion of the labour relations grievance process.

Responsibilities:

Assists human resources staff in work placements for employees returning to work
Responsible for facilitating new employee orientation and the new employee onboarding process
Assists in the recruitment of hourly employees and students in Regina including screening applicants, in-terviewing, and offer letter preparation
Attendance in committees associated with business operations, employee and labour relations.
Partner with Operations Management and the human resources team to ensure adequate workforce planning to meet operational demands
Other duties as assigned within the HR function in support of the business

Requirements:

A university degree in a business related discipline with preference for a major in Human Resources Management
1-3 years experience in a human resources related role with a focus on labour relations preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Continuous learner who is willing to embrace change and work in environment with a high degree of flex-ibility and adaptability to take on additional duties and cross train

Preferred:

A CHRP designation is considered an asset for the role
