Hours of Work:
  In a 1 week rotation: 5 shifts of 7.50 hours

Salary or Pay Band:

Job Summary:
  The Practitioner Staff Affairs Coordinator is responsible to provide leadership in the alignment of physicians and physician services with Prairie North Health Region's strategic plans and clinical program priorities. The core job functions of the position are executed in a manner that aligns with our patient-focused philosophy. In addition, the Practitioner Staff Affairs Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing and implementing effective marketing, recruitment and retention initiatives designed to ensure there is a stable and consistent workforce of practicing physicians within Prairie North Health Region. This includes participation in physician resource planning, physician recruitment and retention initiatives, appointment of medical staff, specialist on-call program, salary and fee schedule administration, employment documentation, contract administration, credentialing, licenses and medical staff education.

Experience:
  Minimum four (4) years experiences in a health care administrative field is required.
  Experience in medical recruiting is an asset.

Required Qualifications:
  Bachelor's degree in a business or administration-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  General knowledge of physician licensing principles and practices, he immigration process and common recruitment practices and processes.
