This full-time Senior Administrative Position will be responsible for:
* customer service in all aspects of the park's operations
* maintaining all aspects of the accounting and information systems
*preparing annual operational and capital budgets for board approval
* human resources (recruiting staff under supervision)
* plan, coordinate and attend all board and community meetings
* work jointly and collaboratively with Park Operations Manager
* all aspects of communications for the park
* liaise with regional and provincial partner organizations
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
* excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
* proven successful people management skills
* ability to work as part of a team committed to providing quality service
* self-directed with organizational and problem solving skills
* completion of 2 (two) year accounting or financial management program from a
recognized educational institution, or an equivalent combination of education and
on-the-job experience
* experience in all aspects of accounting, office management and human resources
* urban municipal government experience considered an asset
The Thomson Lake Regional Park operations are very intensive and demanding during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons, with significant flexibility and reduced workload in the off season.
Start Date: Upon mutual agreement
Salary: Commensurate with experience
