Description

The Murray Library provides specialist resources, facilities and services to the Social Sciences, Fine Arts and Humanities divisions of the College of Arts and Science, and to the Edwards School of Business. The Murray Library is the largest of our seven branch libraries and provides a variety of services including data and GIS services, interlibrary loan, and off-campus support. In 2008 a Statistics Canada Research Data Centre (RDC) was established within the Murray building.

The ideal candidate will possess both a Library Technician Diploma and ideally experience working in libraries. Duties involve providing assistance to patrons and associated circulation and stack maintenance duties. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) term position involving evening and weekend hours, for the period of August 26, 2015 to February 29, 2016 with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
