Description

Main Duties
================

Plant Operations, Safety & Upkeep
-Operate plant and assist receiving, cleaning, and loading;
-Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine, with operators, best operating and upkeep procedures;
-Review and make sure the safety requirements are met and procedure is up to date and observed;

Maintenance & Repair
-Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, according to layout plans using hand and power tools;
-Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery;
-Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
-Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum;
-Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts;
-Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery to ensure optimal operations level;
-Plan, organize and execute shut-downs and coordinate with contractors on site;
-Document and report all maintenance work done;
-keep up-to-date inventory list of tools, parts and equipment.


Key Qualifications
====================
-Completion of secondary school;
-Over 5 years of experience in industrial machinery repair or millwriting;
-Honest,  punctual and responsible;
-Proven planning, organizing, prioritizing and communication skills to keep project(s) on track and coordinate well with operators;
-Direct experience in processing plant operations and maintenance an asset.
