Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Alberta is a dynamic wish-granting organization that brings hope, strength and joy to children living with life-threatening medical conditions.
Over the last few years we have also fulfilled wishes for a number of children in the Province of Saskatchewan. As a result of our ongoing work in Saskatchewan we are very excited to announce the opening of a satellite office in Saskatchewan to better serve the needs of children in Saskatchewan.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Your past experience will demonstrate your ability to build long lasting relationships with the business community and the non-profit sector. You will also have a solid communications or marketing background overseeing significant projects or events and have direct experience in public speaking and presentations. You are an excellent communicator and demonstrate ease in communicating with a wide variety of audiences. In addition, you will have demonstrated excellent multi-tasking and time management skills and will be at ease working independently and with deadlines. Above all you will be a person who works collaboratively with others and is open to incorporating others ideas and suggestions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
You will have three to five three years of highly responsible marketing and/or communications and/or fund raising experience in a non-profit setting combined with a related diploma and or degree. Equivalencies will also be considered. High proficiency in the Microsoft office suite is required. Experience working with diverse groups of people (i.e. volunteers, professionals and corporate entities) and the ability to manage a budget will also be required.
