Description

Are you looking for a rewarding career with one of the largest petroleum refining facilities in the country?  Are you interested in expanding your skills with a company that has a 80-year history of fueling the economic growth and prosperity of Western Canada?  If so, we want to hear from you.

Our team of 1000-plus employees manufactures and supplies high quality petroleum products to our 235 member-owned retail co-operatives and their 1.5 million individual members and other customers from Vancouver Island to northwestern Ontario.

The Co-op Refinery Complex located in Regina, Saskatchewan, is currently recruiting for Process Operators.  We are looking for individuals who share our core principles of safety, equipment integrity, environmental stewardship and quality assurance.

As part of the process department you will be responsible for operating refinery equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to established refinery practices, procedures and operating guidelines. Maintain process equipment through application of preventative maintenance and trouble-shooting, and monitor the operation and equipment for deviations. Additionally, monitor and adjust equipment and process variables to maintain safe and environmentally sound operation and to ensure product quality. Shift work is required.

Minimum qualifications include a grade 12 certificate and a fully completed 4th Class Power Engineering ticket. A complete 4th class ticket is mandatory and a 3rd Class ticket or 2nd Class Ticket is preferred.

Desired skills and attributes include strong analytical and decision-making capacity. Additionally,  demonstrated ability to perform operating and maintenance processes and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

We are proud of our recent investment into a major expansion and associated revamps.  We offer various career opportunities, competitive salary and benefits, continuous training, and educational opportunities.
