Responsible for the supervision/training/operation
of POS system, electronic payment equipment, fuel
distribution/storage systems
Assists/supervises the minor cleaning, inventory
stocking, routine maintenance/building repairs as
required
Efficiently process cash/non-cash transactions in
a courteous and professional manner
Comply with the demands of shift work including
split shifts/on-call responsibilities
Successful completion of Grade 12 and one year
technical training in the business field/ two
years practical experience in a retail environment
A willingness to take job related training as
provided by the employer
General understanding/ability to apply basic
accounting principles
Skills to operate a computerized POS system,
electronic payment equipment, fuel
distribution/storage system
Strong oral/written communication skills to
assertively yet courteously deal with coworkers,
customers, vendors and management, in a fast-
paced, service-based environment
Ability to handle cash and accurately complete
cash exchange transactions
Ability to multi-task, physically and mentally, in
a service related environment
Ability to take direction and work with minimum
supervision
Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and
promote co-operation and teamwork within the work
environment
Demonstrate relevant supervisory, time management,
problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrate and display role model punctuality,
reliability and dependability
Ability to manage confidential information with

Ability to perform minor maintenance tasks, heavy
lifting and perform job related tasks during

Ability to sustain regular exposure to noise and
vehicle traffic
A valid drivers license and vehicle are required
Submit a Criminal Records Check, pre-employement
drug screen and provide three (3) written
references
