The Town of LeRoy seeks a qualified, bondable Executive Assistant. Salary to be negotiated based upon experience, includes benefits and pension package. Accounting and computer skills are required. Knowledge of Munisoft software programs is a definite asset.
Successful candidate will be a reliable self-starter who is able to work independently. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Payroll, Accounts Payable, Journal Entries, and Economic Development.
Qualifications for this position will include: previous experience, excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, advanced skills in Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel. Must be able to manage multiple priorities effectively and have a strong attention to detail.
The successful candidate will possess a commitment to community, vision, and an ability to work cooperatively with Council, the Administrator, town employees, town residents and business owners.
