Salary: Approximately $90-$95,000/year (overtime eligible), plus annual increases, an annual bonus based on individual performance as well as a Long Term Incentive Program up to 10%. A company vehicle is provided.
Experience:
Five to ten years of meter proving and measurement experience related to pipelines
Experience related to liquid hydrocarbon measurement and quality control
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills are important for this position
Working knowledge of industry measurement standards and regulations
Knowledgeable in measurement standards (API) would be an asset
Must be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis, reporting and document writing
Must possess and maintain a valid class 5 drivers license
As this is position is identified as safety and security sensitive, the successful candidate must complete pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol and criminal background checks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform mobile meter proving
Review contractor meter proving reports to guarantee accuracy and validity of proving results
Maintain the district proving truck to comply with safety and compliance regulations
Installing, calibrating and maintaining micro motion and positive displacement (PD) meters and inner assemblies
Ensure measurement and quality control practices are in compliance relating to custody measurement, device calibration and product quality assurance
Audit and evaluate measurement practices of third party custody transfer locations for compliance
Ensure prove calibrations and meter proves are conducted according to procedure and other contractual responsibilities on the MSPL system
Analyze and provide insight on imbalances and pipeline maintenance alarms; identifying potential problem areas
